Star Performance
According to Koimoi, while the film’s script and story might have their flaws, the standout aspect is the performances. Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder deliver exceptional portrayals, taking control of the screen. Michael Keaton’s return as Beetlejuice, though iconic, feels less impactful, almost as if it was a paycheck role. Despite this, it’s still exciting to see him back in action. Meanwhile, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe add elegance to the cast, leaving a memorable impression even with their limited roles.
Box Office Performance
This movie earned an impressive $264 million globally within its first 10 days. Despite a strong opening of $147.2 million, the film saw a predictable drop in its second weekend, which is typical for horror-comedy sequels.
